Needless to say, close quarters breeds love, and Collin and Payton fall in love. Amid their burgeoning romance, Braxton relentlessly searches for Emma. Providing for Emma’s safety, however, turns out to be a more complex problem than Collin and Tristan’s crew thought.

Many returning characters, as well as a new supporting cast, grace the pages of Jaytanie’s second book in the Winters series. Punctuated with aspects of book one, Chasing Victory, Payton’s Pursuit clearly can function as a stand-alone, yet, it is highly recommended for readers new to Jaytanie’s Winters series to start with book one to appreciate the series’ plot dynamics. One of the most important plot dynamics is in understanding how telepathy plays into the sisters’ lives. This begins with Victory who first discovers that her gift—which is heightened when she meets her future husband Tristan—goes well beyond working with animals. Of course, Jaytanie does not dwell on the details of Victory’s story—kidnapping and romantic ties to Tristan. So, first-time readers will miss out on those nerve-racking and spicy tidbits.

"Payton’s Pursuit" plot tension builds slowly while throwing in a whole bunch of twisty turns that will have your engines racing until the very end. Consistent with her series is Jaytanie’s writing style, including a well-defined cast, woven together with engaging dialogue and riveting scenes.

Another amazing romantic suspense novel from Author Joanne Jaytanie! Payton's Pursuit is the second book in The Winters Sisters series & considering I loved the first novel (Chasing Victory), I was certainly exited to read this one. Ms Jaytanie did not disappoint her fans! Payton's book was filled with adventure, drama, romance, laughter & more!
Payton is Victory's sister and a co-CEO of The Winters Corporation. Collin is a former military man who was kidnapped & turned into a human guinea pig by an evil corporation that injected him with wolf DNA, leaving him with special abilities that he struggles to control. Payton has to come to terms with not only the fact that she's psychic, but also that she is some sort of grounding force for Collin, able to calm him when nothing else can. Payton also finds out that her very own mother played a role in the fact that she has psychic abilities. Payton has to hunt for the secrets to this & deal with some very real dangers trailing after her..
Joanne has this unique ability to put the reader directly in the character's shoes & you literally feel the danger & excitement in this story!
This is one compelling & captivating book that you definitely need to check out if you are a lover of romantic suspense!

This review is for all three books as I read them back to back and they very similar.

This series is about 3 sisters who each have a form of telepathic  ability. They were unaware of their true potential until recently. What starts things off is Victory Winters  witnesses a murder of someone from her past which in turns results in her kidnapping. There is an evil corporation that has been doing genetic experiments on humans with canine DNA and they need Victory to help perfect it and to try and come up with something to help control some of the men that have been experimented on where its gone wrong.

The government has been trying to find out who the players are behind Biotec and enlist in a SOCOM Team to help in bringing them down. The teams members also have a few telepathic abilities and eventually the two men Victory was kidnapped to help join SOCOM in there fight.

As the three books progress we find out there is more to it than just experiments with human and canine DNA. The sisters are at the heart of things not realizing how much their parents were involved at the start before they were born.

Each story has one of the sisters and a team member from the SOCOM Team at the forefront of being in jeopardy and also as the romantic couple.

What's uncovered through the books is a huge conspiracy that's global. That is not resolved by the end of the 3rd book so I am hoping there will be more books in the future.
